Organizing Through Storytelling

Centering everyday people, and organizers as the primary voices of SAJE’s campaigns, the use of personal experiences is vital to communicate policy issues and inspire wider public engagement.

SAJE has the unique flexibility to tell stories that emerge from the city’s social fabric, documenting culture, relationships, and organizing efforts that often fall outside the scope of traditional news coverage or institutional communications.

The stories we communicate are tangible data points that demonstrate public impact, and digital platforms are not neutral distribution channels. Communication strategies must always adapt to the changing behaviors of our algorithms.
